The heart is...at times big and bright, at other times made of string and playdough and other silly things. It is that which we seek in wonder, tug in desire and inflate with dreams, scribble with hope and imagine with faith in its' falling apart, in its' coming together, in its' ruin and it's flight we heal and trust the hearts' ability to return to being wild and free, sometimes...no matter what.

This piece has become so important, to so many people who have either reconnected with someone from the past or resolved themselves to putting something back together that was broken. Many originals have found there way to the offices of Heart surgeons. And one woman purchased one for her sister who had had a heart transplant! The originals are an actual split design, with an off center hanging quality that is very eye catching. Done on wood with acrylics and crayons, colors and sizes vary.
