After a lifetime in the "cat only" world ... a puppy landed in my lap ... certain she came from heaven. I rediscovered my heart! And realized I needed little more than poetry, good friends and good books ... and to be held by a puppies adoring eyes! This gallery includes images done with colored pencil and backgrounds in watercolors. Celebrate Pets and Diversity are acrylic on tissue paper from Thailand. When I Was a Puppy

Well, I fell in love with another four legged one and this time it was a dog! Found along the side of the freeway eating garbage and I knew instantly I was lucky with this puppy. And as growth would have it she got lucky to have found me. And no I did not call her "Lucky " but Kaia, Hawaiian for water, which she actually hates...sigh! Can't believe I waited so long for this kind of love!
